About

Scott and Ashley first met in the forests of New Hampshire in the summer of 2008. As a couple, we are really drawn to nature and enjoy the peace, lessons, and challenges that the outdoors brings. When we're not at work, you can often find us kayaking on a river, hiking with our dogs, snowboarding, surfing, or tending to our garden. We also still have a passion for exploring new places and our list of visited countries keeps growing. Every year, we make sure to take a trip to South Africa to visit Scott's family, which keeps our love for travel alive and fills our hearts with joy. Scott

Scott comes from South Africa and fell in love with photography from a young age. He has spent the past decade traveling the world on assignments for a number of outdoor magazines and brands. You can view his work here. His passion started as a young boy while on a river trip when he took the family film camera and shot an entire roll of film from the family vacation, he picked the prints up the following week and knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life, take photographs.

Ashley

Ashley grew up surrounded by nature and the arts in rural Pennsylvania. When not involved in musical theater, she would be found at the stable caring for and riding horses. These days Ashley is beginning her career as a family nurse practitioner. She provides primary care to a largely rural and underserved population, but still says she doesn’t know what she wants to be when she grows up. She spends her free time researching the next travel destinations and assisting Scott capture magical moments from behind the lens.
